Grants are awarded to support projects which the Institute has selected according to topics on its agenda.
The selection process is two tiered:
1. Abstracts are submitted (click here for form) and when relevant,
2. Researchers are requested to submit a full proposal (click here for the directions and forms.)
Each full proposal is reviewed by a Maccabi reviewer and by an expert in the field outside of Maccabi. Professional reviews are sent anonymously to the researchers for correction when needed.
The Maccabi Research Committee selects the most excellent and relevant projects for funding. To date the funding is $25,000 for one year projects and the plan is to increase the budget and scope of funded projects in the future. |
