Research Services

Research Services offered by the Institute provide support to Israeli researchers – from Maccabi or from other health funds, from academia and from industrial enterprises - and to international researchers of all kinds. The support offered corresponds to the size and significance of the project and includes: 1 - assistance in experimental planning/methodology/statistical analysis 2 - access to Maccabi's comprehensive database within the legal and administrative restrictions.

Research Grants

Research Grants are awarded to selected projects according several criteria: 1 - Relevance of the project to Maccabi's current focus subjects and 2 - Methodology of experimentation must meet academic standards for publication. Grants are awarded according to the scope and budget of the project and the Institute's budget. Maccabi encourages collaboration in research among Maccabi physicians or healthcare providers and other researchers – from academic and research institutions in Israel and abroad. Supporting the collaboration between academia and the 'field' is a priority to Maccabi.
