Prof Susan Horn PhD, Head of Institute for Clinical Outcomes Research International Severity Information Systems, Inc., gave a lecture and workshop to researchers at Maccabi and other research centers on Clinical Practice Improvement. Over 70 participants enjoyed the day.


Subject: Practice-Based Evidence for Clinical Practice Improvement lecture and workshop to researchers at Maccabi and other research centers.

These sessions taught researchers how to capitalize on Maccabi's database by employing an alternative research methodology.

They showed how to employ large administrative databases to study the effectiveness of specific treatments, services, provider characteristics etc.
The goal of these health services research studies is to achieve superior medical outcomes for the least necessary cost over the continuum of a patient's care.
